Jack Bulman

Jack Bulman is a proud Muthi-Muthi man and a nationally recognised leader in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander male health. As the CEO of Mibbinbah, Australia’s only Indigenous male health promotion charity, Jack brings more than 17 years of experience in community leadership, health promotion, and culturally responsive program development.

With a foundation built on cultural knowledge and lived experience, Jack has successfully led the design, funding, and delivery of numerous high-impact health and wellbeing initiatives across urban, rural, and remote communities. Under his leadership, Mibbinbah has secured and implemented over $8.5 million in national projects, including healing camps, community research, and men’s wellness spaces. He is also a trusted project manager with the Royal Flying Doctor Service, delivering tailored programs to support Aboriginal health in remote settings.

Jack’s academic credentials include a Master of Philosophy from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Health Science in Health Promotion from La Trobe University, complemented by a suite of qualifications in governance, training, and community care. His professional journey spans roles in research, policy, frontline health service delivery, and community development.

A passionate advocate for men’s healing and cultural reconnection, Jack is widely recognised as a thought leader in the field. He has co-authored influential publications such as Our Men Our Shields and Violence Prevention Framework for Men and Boys, and regularly contributes to national forums, policy dialogues, and media. He is a Beyond Blue and Prostate Cancer Foundation Indigenous Ambassador, a member of several national advisory bodies, and co-founder of the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Male Research Forum.

Jack is also the voice behind the On the Road with Mibbinbah podcast and co-host of JB & CJ Weekly Live Check-in, both of which offer powerful platforms for conversation, culture, and community-led health messaging.
